This delightful piece by Robert Shumann is to found in his Album for the Young ("Album für die Jugend" in German), which is a set of easy piano pieces that he composed for his three daughters, in 1848. Take care with the accents in this piece, they add to the character immensely. Notice the diminuendo in bars 3 and 4.
